Attempted Rescue

    


     B'eight begins the arduous task of climbing the passage toward the sounds of pain.  As the darkness closes in a soft feeling of panic comes with it.  After working past 5 rooms B'eight reaches the top of the hall, the sounds are coming from the other side of the door to the left.  Still muffled and mixed with the ambient noises from the general horror all over the vessel it remains difficult to determine the source, or potential sentience, of the desperate cries.  B'eight timidly pushes the panel and the door slides open.  As it does a slight plume of smoke escapes into the hall.  This is more smelt than seen in the poorly lit hall.  The near darkness of the hallway does not compare to the complete pitch-black in the room beyond.

- Forget this! B'eight decides that if there is someone in there, their time is up.

- B'eight figures that it must just be a machine making that noise after all.

- B'eight climbs in past the door way to investigate.
